Legislation

The website transformation.odap.gr is an information website for the project “Development & Implementation of Digital Interactive Services and Content to enhance the visitor experience at Archaeological Sites, Museums, Monuments and Historic Places through the use of Innovative Technologies and Open Systems”, implemented within the remit and responsibilities of the Organization for the Management and Development of Cultural Resources (ODAP). The relevant institutional/legal framework includes indicatively:

  • Law 5103/2024 “Measures for safeguarding and promoting intangible cultural heritage, the protection and enhancement of Greek-language song and recordings by new creators or artists, as well as the protection and dissemination of the Greek language, within the framework of safeguarding and promoting intangible cultural heritage – Provisions for the modernization of the commercial policy of ODAP and other provisions of the Ministries of Culture and of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports.” (Government Gazette A’ 57)
  • Law 5021/2023 “Modernization of museum policy and cultural heritage management matters: establishment of museums as public law entities, state insurance for the mobility of cultural goods, actions of ODAP and the Acropolis Museum, provisions on criminal protection of cultural heritage, Councils of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Register of Archaeological Works Personnel, other provisions regarding personnel of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and addressing the effects of the pandemic on culture, and other urgent provisions.” (Government Gazette A’ 31)
